It's official...Dec.10th is the magic #. I will be in the hospital for about 3 days. The surgery will be about 1 -2 hrs. I can't wait to be on the other side of healing.
Sometimes I think I really don't need this surgery. Denial! Except when I wake up in the morning and can hardly walk or sit on the pot.
I will have a hip buddy from Australia having her THR in a few weeks. We met via the women's hip group.
It's all about getting ready!

I just saw you were a follower of mine and want to tell you that I feel your anxiety and pain! If you go through all my old blogs....you will see how it went for me from start to finish. I was also born with CHD and had both arthroscopy (which failed) and then LTHR. Where is your surgery going to be? Good luck to you and you'll do just fine!!!!! I never believed anyone (was in denial just like you) that the surgery would work. It's a life changing thing....I walk pain-free and limp-free now!
